General Summary:

  • The programs coordinator has both an internally and externally facing role managing relationships in the community with a heavy emphasis on maintaining and developing partnerships, and establishing standards of performance across all programs
  • Run day-to-day operations pertaining to all programs
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all TNBC programs, meeting strategic plan goals and objectives, and achieving meaningful outcomes
  • Reports directly to the Executive Director

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

NEW BEGINNINGS CLIENT RECRUITMENT

  • Promotes New Beginnings’ 12-week programs
    • Creates posts for the New Beginnings closed Facebook Group
    • Works with Marketing Coordinator to schedule posts for The New Beginnings Center’s Facebook page and Instagram account
    • Creates email campaigns using Constant Contact
  • Notifies referral partners and referring physicians of all upcoming class start dates and provides updated marketing materials for distribution to members, clients, and patients
  • Networks with other non-profits and companies to increase program applications
  • Processes all applications and ensures all paperwork is submitted for each client
  • Prepares class data sheets in preparation for classes
  • Receives and tracks all sliding scale and Repeater fee payments
  • Schedules events to promote TNBC: open houses, workshops, health fairs, etc.

 

SATELLITE LOCATIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Maintains relationships with contacts at satellite locations
  • Works with lead contacts to make sure community stays informed about class offerings
  • Creates coaching schedule
  • Manages equipment inventory

 

EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

  • Plan one health and wellness workshop per month for clients and Nashville community
  • Create workshop flyer and distribute to clients and referral partners
  • Track RSVP’s and attendance numbers

 

DATA RECORDING & DATA MANAGEMENT  

  • Accurately records and tracks client data for duration of New Beginnings 12-week program
  • Collects data from satellite coaches monthly
  • Keeps up-to-date record of numbers served at all locations

 

VOLUNTEERS

  • Recruits and trains volunteers
  • Manages portal with Hands on Nashville
  • Organizes volunteers for New Beginnings classes, health fairs and other events throughout the year

 

MANAGEMENT

  • Manages coaching staff and student interns, to ensure expectations are communicated and results are met
  • Manages staff onboarding paperwork
  • Manages/Implements new hire training
  • Hires and trains new coaches
  • Ensures coaches are HIPAA certified and adhere to HIPAA policy

           

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will be:

  • Results driven
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about helping women become stronger and healthier
  • Creative and a self-starter
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 

Undergraduate Degree required

  • NCAA personal trainer certification required or willingness to obtain one
  • 3 years’ project management and/or coaching experience required
  • Background in nutrition, life-coaching and personal training
