Our fifth cohort of the program, Avanzando, powered by Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with the Hispanic Family Foundation has graduated in October 2023. The graduation ceremony was held in Xenote and hosted by Hispanic Family Foundation in Nashville, TN.

The evening was filled with family and friends there to honor our graduating students, thanks to our Sponsors: Nissan, HCA Healthcare, LaunchTN, and Asurion. Catering was provided by Delicias Colombianas RR.

25 people enrolled in the 5th Cohort of Avanzando, of which 20 were accepted and attended classes, 18 maintained high attendance, and 8 students presented their business plans during graduation. Of the eight students who presented their work, three were chosen by our judges after an evaluation based on their clarity and impact. The 5th Cohort prize winners were:

1st prize: Michelle Martinez – Explorando entre Culturas

2nd Prize: Maricel Peña – Maricel Mobile Notary Public

3rd Prize: Mariela Mata – Eclart Designs

To finish off the night, a graduation ceremony was held and in celebration by all those in attendance. Felicidades to all!
