Reggie Blair currently serves as the Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.  He is a seasoned  sales, training, and recruitment professional with over seven years of combined management experience.

 

He spent most of his time growing up a dependent of military parents and moved around every few years.  Although originally from Alabama, Reggie has been a resident of Nashville, TN for the past fifteen years.  He has both a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Information Security from Lipscomb University.  He began his professional career as sales and account manager for DELL Computers, working there for a stint of five years. He felt a calling to make a more impactful change on the lives  of young people and decided that seeking employment in higher education could assist him in that effort. Reggie took a position as an admissions counselor in 2008 and began advancing his career to his current holding.  During his time in admissions, Lipscomb has seen tremendous enrollment growth, setting new records yearly.  He has championed initiatives to increase the efforts of diversity in recruiting and aided Lipscomb in achieving its highest diversity percentage among the undergraduate cohort in the school’s history.

 

Reggie is a sponsor and avid supporter of Kappa Iota Theta, Lipscomb University’s Black Student Association. Additionally, he serves as a consultant for the student ambassadors associated with the Office of Intercultural Affairs. He’s participated in numerous community involvement projects including Youth Encouragement Services, Greater Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce, the K.S. London and Lizzie Ransom Scholarship Committee, and Jackson Street Church of Christ Tutorial Programs. He’s also led multiple mission trips to Atlanta, GA (Inner City) and City of Children in Ensenada, Mexico. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as mentoring first generation college students concerning financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
